Different types of objects can be identified in different ways:
Accounts can be identified by base-58-encoded addresses, such as "rLnR6ruCzsHRvhEAGMsr2kDHWNCMhs2hZc". Addresses all begin with "r". You can also provide an unencoded hexadecimal representation.
Transactions are identified by their hash, a SHA-512 hash in the transaction binary format. Transaction hashes can represent hexadecimal characters.
Each Stream ledger instance has a sequence number and hash value. See Specifying a ledger Instance for details.
